Review of Samsung Galaxy Tab S6

We have recently reviewed the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e, and we enjoyed the fact that it is delivering a good experience to users at a comparatively attractive price. We know that the Tab S5e is a major example of an inexpensive Android tablet, but the recently introduced Galaxy Tab S6 is classified as the best tablet that Samsung has offered till date.

Design and Specifications of Samsung Galaxy Tab S6

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 isn't the descendant to the Galaxy Tab S5e. This classy Android tablet supports a 10.5-inch AMOLED display with a WQXGA resolution (1600x2560 pixels). The display has large bezels all around which appears good considering the size of the device. Samsung has also introduced an in-display fingerprint sensor on the Galaxy Tab S6.Actually it uses an optical CMOS sensor. The user will notice that the AMOLED display lights up around the fingerprint scanner during use. The tab offers a 5.7mm thickness, a smooth and shiny surface, but a 7040mAh battery makes it heavy at 420g. Samsung has placed the power and volume buttons on the right side, along with a microphone hole and the SIM tray which can grasp one Nano-SIM and a microSD card. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 offers four AKG-tuned speakers. At the back of this tab, the Galaxy Tab S6 offers dual cameras. The touchscreen offers a stylus, and Samsung does ship an S Pen stylus in the box to the user.

At the left side, this tablet has a 4-pin connector for well-suited accessories as well as two notches. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. The tab has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also offers a support for 4G VoLTE along with dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5. This model is a way more influential than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e, which only offered 4GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 670 SoC. The Galaxy tab S6 is also very good for media consumption. This Tab can perform at its highest settings without a hint of lag. In AnTuTu, the Galaxy Tab S6 succeeded to score 4, 38,177 points. In PCMark Work 2.0, the Galaxy Tab S6 succeeded to score 9,858 points. In case of graphics, the device succeeded to achieve 24fps in GFXBench's Car Chase scene and 39fps in the Manhattan 3.1 scene. The Galaxy Tab S6 also performed well for 11 hours and 46 minutes in the HD video loop battery test.


The Galaxy Tab S6 is the latest flagship tablet from. It offers the finest possible hardware in terms of performance for an Android tablet. The users liked the vivid AMOLED panel, and the quad speakers to consume media on. Luckily Samsung is not facing a lot of competition, as producers have stopped making Android tablets. If the user has to get an Android tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6 is the best possible option.
