Samsung Galaxy S11: Leaks, rumors and everything the world knows so far
We’re still a few months away from Samsung declaring its latest smartphones, but we’re already getting leaks and rumors. Rumors are spreading about Samsung's Galaxy S11 series of smartphones that have made the users excited. We are not sure that the new series would be called Galaxy S11, but it's hard to believe Samsung naming the new phones anything else. We're getting leaks also about Samsung up-gradation for its products and the practice to test its latest hardware.
Ironically, we cannot be sure about the rumors and leaks until Samsung makes an official announcement. We will get more reliable information as we step into 2020.
Release date Leaks
On the basis of past experiences, we expect an official announcement from Samsung in February 2020.
A March 2020 launches to date. The Past trend of the company reveals that the company has always announced the next Galaxy S model in February and launched it in March. We expect the same trend in the coming year. We forecast that Samsung will make an official announcement in mid-February and the phone would be available from early March.
We guess that Samsung will follow the past pattern in naming schemes like Galaxy S11e, S11, and S11 Plus.
From the previous trend, we expect that the low-end phone will be named Galaxy S11e, and the higher-end models will be called Galaxy S11 and Galaxy S11 Plus.
Expectations regarding look like?
The phones will be similar to Note 10 in look; however, there will be a new camera arrangement. The best idea about what the Galaxy S11 will look like comes from a CAD render delivered by @OnLeaks published on 91mobiles.
The front of the phone will offer the camera punch centered at the top of the screen.
According to the rumors, the S11 will have a large camera array that will offer five different cameras.
There is a possibility of five cameras on the back. The most exciting rumor claims that the Galaxy S11 XDA Developers found code in the Samsung Camera app that indicates the S11 could have a 108-megapixel primary camera.
5G Data Network
Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 865 processor will come up with a 5G data network but it requires to be combined with a 5G modem
We may witness 5G connectivity in every Galaxy S11 that Samsung releases next year, but if it turns out to be true, that also means the price for every model will raise. We expect to see Samsung release LTE models together with a 5G variant of the S11 and 5G standard in the S11 Plus.
• Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865
• 120Hz refresh rate for the screen
• Bigger display, bigger battery
Samsung has a habit to be one of the first phone manufacturers to use Qualcomm's modern Snapdragon processor with its S series each year, and we don't imagine that pattern to end soon. The new processor backs display refresh rates of up to 120 Hz, which indicates a flatter scrolling through apps and better-quality gaming.
A leak from Ice Universe suggests a hidden settings menu present in Note 9's One UI 2 beta that adds an option for a 120 Hz refresh rate, which isn't present in Note 9. It seems Samsung left some code planned for the S11 in the Note 9 build.
The S11 display sizes will be 6.4 inches, 6.7 inches, and 6.9 inches for the S11e, S11 and S11 Plus, correspondingly. The smallest S11 will have a 6.2-inch display.A 5G gadget with more cameras and greater displays is going to consume through batteries much faster, but it seems Samsung has adjusted the S11's battery size to offset it. An image posted by Ice Universe is apparently the battery that Samsung will use in the Galaxy S11 Plus, and it's a huge 5,000mAh.
